Qatar Petrochemical Sponsors graduation ceremony for Omar bin Al Khattab Educational Complex

Qatar Petrochemical Company (QAPCO) a leading Middle East petrochemical company recently sponsored the 2012 graduation ceremony forthe Omar bin Al Khattab Educational Complex. The graduation ceremony was held yesterday evening at the Doha Sheraton Hotel.

QAPCO’s Vice Chairman and CEO Dr. Mohammad Yousef Al Mulla, chief officers and department managers attended the ceremony.
 
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Al Mulla said that the sponsorship provided to Omar bin Al Khattab School by QAPCO was part of the company’s commitment towards the society.
 
He said: “It is an integral part of the company’s policy and responsibility towards the society as it adopts an ambitious plan to help found a well-educated generation equipped with the latest scientific knowledge to lead the development process in our beloved country.” He also urged the students to exert their potential to achieve success in their studies and careers ahead.
 
As a leading petrochemical producer and exporter in the Middle East QAPCO is constantly expanding and developing, and it always requires new young graduates to join the company, and it within its Quality Qatarization strategic policy to recruit the highly motivated students, who would like to build their careers with QAPCO.
 
“QAPCO is constantly working on an ambitious rolling plan to attract the young Qatari staff to join the company; we participate annualy in the career fair. QAPCO will also sponsor the top students and grant them scholarships to pursue their studies and to join the company in the future after graduation.” said Dr Al Mulla
 
Mr. Mohammed Al-Maraghi, Principal of Omar bin Al-Khattab educational complex, has extended his thanks and appreciation to QAPCO’s management, and to Dr. Al-Mulla, for their continual support.
In his address, Mohammed Al-Maraghisaid QAPCO’s support will go a long way in transforming the youth of the country into future leaders.
He said: “Our school has always been keen on reinforcing all the positive aspects and improving whatever needs to be improved, keeping ourselves updated and selecting what best meets our ambitions and objectives.” Al Buanain also advised the students to find means of creating a future for themselves and the country.
QAPCO also has expressed its commitment in providing scholarship to talented students to continue their studies in various universities in Qatar.
The event was witnessed by a large number of well-wishers and family members of the graduating students.
